The Story

Original 1975 15.25" x 26.75" printer's proof depicting the proposed album cover art for the unreleased "The Rolling Stones' Rock And Roll Circus." The album was to contain tracks from the 1968 promotional film to coincide with the release of "Beggars Banquet" featuring Rolling Stones, Jethro Tull, John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Who and Taj Mahal.

Following Brian Jones' death the project was abandoned and not officially released until 1996. This is from a 1975 planned release that never materialized.

Alan Aldridge designed three different covers, with this one probably being the most interesting of the three.

Small tears and shallow creases along the edges, but in overall excellent condition.
